Introduction
Embracing Femininity ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at embracing-femininity.vercel.app and the Embracing Femininitymobile application (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using our Services, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Services.
Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you contact us through our website form, you may submit your name, email address, and message. Counseling and shop inquiries initiated via WhatsApp are handled directly in WhatsApp and are subject to WhatsApp's own privacy practices.
Course access codes. When you enter a course access code, we validate it against our servers. Valid codes may be associated with usage counts on our backend for administration and fraud prevention. We do not require user accounts to access courses.
Information stored on your device (mobile app). The mobile app stores certain data locally on your phone using on-device storage (Hive), including:
- Shopping bag / cart items
- Saved or bookmarked products and articles
- Unlocked course identifiers and access codes you have entered
- Lesson completion progress
- Cached catalog content (products, courses, blog posts, FAQs, and similar public content)
This on-device data is not uploaded to create a user profile unless you separately share it with us (for example, via WhatsApp or email).
Automatically collected information. Our hosting provider (Vercel) and standard web technologies may process technical data such as IP address, browser or device type, and request logs for security and performance. The mobile app fetches public content from our API over HTTPS.
How We Use Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the website and mobile app
- Respond to contact and support requests
- Validate course access codes and deliver purchased learning content
- Enable shop checkout flows via WhatsApp
- Protect against misuse, abuse, or technical issues
- Comply with applicable law
We do not sell your personal information.
Third-Party Services
Our Services may link to or embed third-party services, including:
- WhatsApp — for orders, counseling bookings, and customer support
- YouTube — for embedded course video playback in the mobile app and website
- Vercel — website and API hosting
- External download links — for free digital resources you choose to open
These services are governed by their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them when you leave our Services or interact with embedded content.
Data Retention
Contact form submissions may be stored on our servers for as long as needed to respond and maintain records. Course access code usage may be retained for administration. Mobile app data on your device remains until you clear app storage, uninstall the app, or use in-app options to reset local data where available.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Counseling conversations are treated as confidential trusts (Amanah), as described on our Services pages.
